INeS Danube eLearning Platform
The decisive penetration of electronic and digital information and communication technologies in everyday life is not only undeniable but also encouraged. The European Commission is responding to this with initiatives and strategies (i.e.

A Digital Agenda for Europe, Innovation Union, Youth on the move) for increasing the qualifications and competences of European citizens.

Qualification and skills are important prerequisites for future jobs. In order to support this process information and training measures are needed for providing both students and practitioners state-of-art information accessible via innovative IT-based (e.g. eLearning) services for transnational purposes.

In this context, the eLearning deployment strategy and the transactions using INeS Danube ( http://www.ines.info/ ) are meant to introduce to youngsters and practitioners eLearning content about IWT and eLearning tools (including visits to education institutions, network and exchange with other eLearning content pools, user workshops, specialist lectures).
