Jobs promotion campaign
One of the apparent reasons for the declining number of apprentices and students in the inland waterway transport sector is the lack of knowledge on career possibilities and working conditions in IWT.

Creation of public awareness on the image of inland navigation sector as potential positive employer requires a coordinated effort, starting with the identification of available work force and job opportunities by contacting and involving appropriate national inland navigation promotion agencies, labour market services, employment agencies, local river ship operators and of specific target group categories.

HINT partners will design a flexible IWT job promotion strategy allowing its actual implementation by means of transnational campaigns subject to findings of specific investigations. The IWT job promotion campaigns will cover the entire Danube corridor even though only two actions to be organized in Hungary and Croatia.

The campaigns will be customised so as to match needs and cultural characteristics of each participating country.

News on the upcoming job promotion campaigns will be published soon.
